It got slightly better after the latest updates. Finally is also possible to use it in English. The problem is that the app starts in Chinese, and I have to go through a few menus in order to change the language. It should automatically change following my OS language. Besides that, is a decent app. Its good also for buying tickets.

If you check in and choose United Airline frequent flyer number which the app allows, it always tells you that your number is wrong. I guess it only accepts numbers, not letters. How stupid! I wonder if they know anything about airline business. Looking at their website, it is also an amateur job. It is so shameful for the No. 1 airline in China. 值机常客卡号似乎只认识数字，不认识字母（比如美联航），太业余了。

The worst App I have used 国航抓紧完善吧！真的不是一般的烂，连付款都解决不了，通过微信付款ok，通过信用卡refused，what a bad！

Completely unspecial, in English there are many spelling or grammar or word choice errors, ui doesnt let you click from field to field when filling out forms, and since this app is basically all forms its pretty frustrating. It will say "price has changed - confirm cancel" with no more information when you try and book and if you push cancel it doesnt update the price, and if you push confirm it makes the booking and THEN tells you the price change. Not cool. Furthermore when you complete a booking it asks you how they did, and it has two options "not bad :)" and "terrible" or something like that. If you say not bad, it brings you to this page. Thats a pretty lame move. You get one star.

Zero star for this App. Online payment with foreign credit card or even a Chinese bank card held by a Foreign passport holder is not allowed! Dont waste time buying tickets with App or Online from Air China. Sad but true.

This app appears oriented toward Air Chinas domestic flights in China only. I booked tickets from USA but cannot access my trip or check in via the app. A lot of functions revert back to Chinese-language only.

Apparently its too hard for Air China to invest in their non-Chinese customers

The latest version can booking with foreign credit card and passport. Keep improving.

It is much convenient to buy ticket on this app than that on AirChina web.

I give 3 stars because the app works fine and I only used it for check in, I took two stars away because I dont know why I cannot check in online, I followed all the steps, and input all the correct info.

I cannot find my order on Air Chinas website after I booked ticket from this app. I dont know whether it is because the database is not connected or something else. Besides that, I dont receive any confirmation through email after I bought that ticket. Still a lot room for improvement.

The only thing u should know is to choose the domestic or international airlines. The former use ID card number, but the latter u should use the passport number.

Now English is a language option. Unfortunately inputting a US mobile phone doesnt match the requested number format. Hence, not usable for an overseas person.

Better UI and speeds from before, less buggy

I use the app basically for the check-in service and it has been convenient so far, but one thing: for adding my mileage card no. they list the star alliance companies into Chinese which makes finding your companys abbreviation on the list not an easy job..

It requires a +(86) number and I only have my american number so the app is unusable.

Its convenient to book ticket. The process is brief and directly, the time needed is much shorter than the agent websites. I am very happy that I can book here the international tickets at much better price than Ctrip and Qunar.

Good try! Unfortunately, 100%of the time, it fails to search for a round trip ticket. Need major improvements!

This app is useless to those who are not located in China (you cant even log in without a Chinese telephone number), and the entire app is in Chinese with no option to translate. Seems baffling to me for an international airline not to offer options for non-Chinese customers!
